  • Philanthropy in the Arts Award
  • Lifetime Achievement Award

  • Business Supporter of the Arts Award

The winners of these awards will be announced in spring.

“The ArtsQuest Foundation is excited to bring our community the 4th annual Linny Awards. For the past three years, this event, which honors Marlene “Linny” Fowler, has been the premier showcase for the Lehigh Valley’s vibrant arts community,” says 2019 Linny Awards Committee Chair Andrea Kochan Neagle. “In keeping with this new but important tradition, the Linny Awards will again recognize the contributions of local artists, volunteers and philanthropists who work tirelessly to enrich our lives and educate students in our region. It’s an exciting night for the award recipients and it’s the privilege of the ArtsQuest Foundation to honor the award winners’ dedication to the local arts community.”

All 2019 Linny Award winners will be honored during the Linny Awards ceremony Nov. 14 at Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling, located in the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Previous Linny Award winners include Academy Award-winning costume designer Ann Roth, actor and director Daniel Roebuck, renowned artist Emil Lukas, actor and producer Daniel Dae Kim, actress and comedian Kate Micucci and 2019 Musikfest poster artist Jessica Bastidas.

ArtsQuest also has select opportunities for sponsors who are interested in saluting the ‘rock stars’ of the Lehigh Valley’s arts scene. If you or your company are interested in sponsoring an award or table at the 2019 awards ceremony, contact ArtsQuest Director of Donor Relations Selena Lavonier at slavonier@artsquest.org.

Named after the late Marlene ‘Linny’ Fowler, a stained-glass artist and community leader who supported artists and arts organizations throughout the Lehigh Valley for more than a quarter century, the Linny Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate the region’s flourishing arts community. The Linnys are open to individuals living or working in Lehigh, Northampton, upper Bucks and upper Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania, as well as Warren County in New Jersey.

Proceeds from the Linny Awards go to support the nonprofit ArtsQuest Foundation, which Fowler helped found in 2003. The nonprofit foundation is focused on supporting and strengthening the long-term sustainability of ArtsQuest, the nonprofit that presents Musikfest and more than 3,500 other programs, events and educational classes annually for our region.
